Sales Consultant

Reports to: General Manager, General Sales Manager, Sales Manager, Assistant Sales Manager

Primary Responsibilities

The Sales Consultant is expected to:

  • Protect the legal and financial welfare of the dealership;
  • Support the efforts of the other employees;
  • Seek ways to exceed the expectations of employees and customers;
  • Sell new/used cars at dealership gross and volume standards;
  • Adhere to the core values of LAG Corporation.

Primary Duties

  • Follow the instructions and directions of your supervisors;
  • Demonstrate professionalism and a good attitude at all times;
  • Communicate and enforce dealership policies and procedures;
  • Complete all assigned CRM tasks on a daily basis;
  • Ensure all leads and “Steps to the Sale” are logged in CRM on a daily basis;



Reports to: Service Manager or the Shop Foreman

General Summary

Provides automotive services by performing inspections, repairs, maintenance, and installations efficiently, safely and according to Manufactures quality and time standards. Complies with Manufacturers and dealership’s safety and environmental programs and practices. Automotive services may include, but are not limited to drive ability, suspensions, alignments, steering, heating and air conditioning, basic ABS brakes and exhaust systems.

Provides clear and legible record of service completed for both customer and dealership use.

  • Has an approachable style; fosters open communication through active listening.
  • Assists Service Advisors, if necessary, to explain completed repairs to a customer.
  • Assists other technicians when needed.


Sales Manager (SM)

Reports to: General Manager

General Summary

It is not the primary responsibility of the SM to close car deals, wholesale trades, follow up with customers, etc. While they may be called on to help in several areas daily, their primary responsibility is to ensure that all dealership sales personnel have the training and tools necessary to do their job and understand that the SM will be monitoring their success daily. Your job is to motivate your employees even when you are not standing over them.


Business Manager

Reports to: General Manager, General Sales Manager, Finance Directors

Primary Responsibilities

The Business Manager is expected to:

  • Protect the legal and financial welfare of the dealership;
  • Support the efforts of the other employees to be successful;
  • Seek ways to exceed the expectations of employees and customers;
  • Sell new/used cars at the dealership’s gross and volume standards;
  • Maintain legal, moral, and ethical standards with all customers and employees;
  • Adhere to the core values of being of the LAG Corporation.



Reports to: President, General Manager, Operations Manager.

Primary Responsibilities:

Serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately; notifies company personnel of visitor arrival; maintains security and telecommunications system.

Receptionist Job Duties:

  • Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries;
  • Professional attire must be worn;
  • Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories; giving instructions;
  • Maintains security by following procedures; monitoring logbook;
  • Maintains telecommunication system;
  • Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations;
  • Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions and irregularities;
  • File work orders and cash out from the previous day;
  • Stock Vehicles in book, create key tags and window tag/spare keybag;
